Project Description:

This five-day (35 hours) course is intended for students who have some experience with Windows Server and who will be responsible for managing storage and compute by using Windows Server 2016.  Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:This five-day (35 hours) course is intended for students who have some experience with Windows Server and who will be responsible for managing storage and compute by using Windows Server 2016.  Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Prepare and install Nano Server, a Server Core installation, and plan a server upgrade and migration strategy

• Describe the various storage options, including partition table formats, basic and dynamic disks, file systems, virtual hard disks, and drive hardware, and explain how to manage disks and volumes

.• Describe enterprise storage solutions, and select the appropriate solution for a given situation

.• Implement and manage Storage Spaces and Data Deduplication

.• Install and configure Microsoft Hyper-V, and configure virtual machines

.• Deploy, configure, and manage Windows and Hyper-V containers

.• Describe the high availability and disaster recovery technologies in Windows Server 2016

.• Plan, create, and manage a failover cluster

.• Implement failover clustering for Hyper-V virtual machines

.• Configure a Network Load Balancing (NLB) cluster, and plan for an NLB implementation.

• Create and manage deployment images.

• Manage, monitor, and maintain virtual machine installations.

Contractor shall follow the topics and outline for the Microsoft Exam 70-740 preparation course and provide Exam 70-740 exam vouchers for 12 students. Contractor shall provide  he opportunity for students to take the Microsoft exam during the week of training and shall proctor the exam.

Minimum Instructor Requirements
Experience:
A. For CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Windows Server 2016: Four or more years of IT service experience in a corporate, government, or healthcare organization. The instructor must be a subject matter expert with experience in delivering IT training to professionals.
B. For Project Management Professional: Four or more years of project management experience in a corporate, government, or healthcare organization. The instructor must be a subject matter expert with experience in delivering project management training to professionals.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higherCertification: Instructors must have current certifications in the respective course material that is being taught.
Teaching Experience: Two or more years of technical teaching experience with specialized experience in the exam preparation courses.
Teaching Ratings: Ability to achieve and maintain a superior student feedback rating
