Antiracism training

Project Description:

We are looking for an instructor to conduct Antiracism, Equity & Inclusion trainig. Training will be conducted in a virtual environment.

Training at least should cover topics listed below:

• How do we begin conversations about race? How do we engage in difficult conversations?
• What is race?
• What is the history of racism?
• What is systemic racism and what are the impacts?
• How is being anti-racist different from being not racist?
• What is micro aggression?
• What is unconscious bias and racial implicit bias and how do they differ?
• How do we recognize subtle bias?
• What does it mean to be a truly inclusive and respectful community?
• How do we identify non-inclusive behavior?
• How do we begin to explore our identities and understand our beliefs?
• What is privilege?
• How do we identify our own privilege(s)?
• How do we leverage our privilege to assist others?
• What is power?
• What is equity?
• What is an ally and how do we train allies to promote anti-racism?
• What does it mean to have compassion and how do we exhibit it?
