Description

Every project is an investment. You spend resources, time, and money to get things done. What do you get in return? In this program you will learn traditional and agile management frameworks, cost accounting best practices, including cost estimation, benefit/cost, ROI, profitability index, data analysis and other data tools and techniques that will help you answer questions related to the financial impacts your projects bring to your organization. Many of us struggle to make sense of all the data that is available in this information age. With such a deluge of reports and statistics which don’t mean anything or can’t be made sense of, it’s no wonder that data is often misinterpreted or not communicated at all. Learn how to synthesize information into a logical framework, summarize it into a meaningful format, and then display the summary into easy-to-read tables and graphs. Covering dashboard reporting, balanced scorecards, visual design of charts and tables, we will also discuss the new charting and analysis features of different tools and techniques. This program is very hands-on and practical. Each participant will be expected to create their own reports, charts and models utilizing the tools and techniques covered during the course.

Certifications

At the end of the program, successful students will obtain a certificate of completion, and might be able to sit for the following exams: Six Sigma, Project Management certification or Prince2 or Project+, Database Management Expert™, Microsoft, Oracle, and other. You will be able to master management of the solutions developed in one or more of the following environments: SAP, Oracle, SQL, Share Point...

To receive a certificate of completion for the eConsulting Group's training course, students must obtain the score above 60%.

Regular Class Attendance:
Students cannot miss more than 20% of their class attendance. Class attendance will be taken daily and will be forwarded to the administrative department. The administrative office will verify the students’ attendance and progress, they will notify, counsel, and document the deficiencies. If a student has missed 10% of class, he/she will be notified, documented, and placed on a warning status pending probationary status to include termination from the course.

Class Participation:
- Class exercise (20% of their grade),
- Homework (30% of their grade),
- Final project (50% of their grade). Final project due date is ten (10) days after completion of the course.
